A gallon of gas cost 52 cents...........the average income $11,800..............avg. monthly rent $165.................your avg. home price $27,550. It would be the year the Dow Jones would go over 1000 for the first time.......Mark Spitz would win 7 Olympic golds for the USA...........Apollo 16 and 17 would put the first rover on the moon and the last men..........Richard Nixon would order the start of the space shuttle program and Watergate would become news and in Dec of 1972 Hatteras would begin building Desperado........................
